FAMOUS OPERA CHORUSES WITH BRADLEY UNIVERSITY’S COMMUNITY CHOIR

The Bradley University’s Community Chorus, of which Jennifer is a soprano member, will be performing various famous opera choruses chosen by Dr. John Jost for his final performance with the community choir.

BRADLEY CHORALE DR. JOST FAREWELL CONCERT

Details:

The Bradley University Chorale will present a farewell concert to Dr. John Jost, who is retiring after 29 years as Director of Choral Activities at Bradley. Jennifer is one of over 100 Bradley Chorale alumni who will join this year’s 40-member Chorale to present favorite selections from concerts of previous years.

SOPRANO SOLO PERFORMANCES WITH PEORIA MUNICIPAL BAND

When:

    Wednesday, June 6th 2018 at 7PM

Where:

Water Street - Peoria Warehouse District

Details:

Soprano Solo Performances with Peoria Municipal Band: Jennifer is performing in as a special guest soloist with the Peoria Municipal Band in a unique “venue” literally on Water Street in downtown Peoria.  Jennifer will be performing the following pieces: “Ah! Je Veux Vivre”, “One Hand, One Heart ”, “If I Loved You” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone” (Rodgers & Hammerstein).

SOPRANO SOLO PERFORMANCES WITH PEORIA MUNICIPAL BAND

    Glen Oak Amphitheatre

Soprano Solo Performances with Peoria Municipal Band: Jennifer is performing in as a special guest soloist with the Peoria Municipal Band in their classic location at the Glen Oak Park Amphitheatre.  Jennifer will be performing the following pieces: “Ah! PRAYERS OF LIGHT WITH BRADLEY UNIVERSITY’S COMMUNITY CHOIR

     The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception

Prayers of Light:

The Bradley Community Chorus and Symphony Orchestra will perform two works that may differ in era and style, but that parallel each other in extraordinary ways:

Mozart’s Vesperae Solennes de Confessore and Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna.

Featured soloists are Kerry Walters, soprano, of the Bradley University Music Department; Rebecca Crumrine, mezzo-soprano and Bradley University Alum; Eric Ashcraft, tenor and Bradley University Alum; and Saul Nache, baritone, who teaches at Bradley and Illinois Wesleyan Universities and Augustana College.  Dr. Timothy Semanik, director of the Bradley Symphony Orchestra, and Dr. Cory Ganschow, Director of Choral Activities at Bradley, will conduct.
