Prayers of Light:

The Bradley Community Chorus and Symphony Orchestra will perform two works that may differ in era and style, but that parallel each other in extraordinary ways:

Mozart’s Vesperae Solennes de Confessore and Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna.

Featured soloists are Kerry Walters, soprano, of the Bradley University Music Department; Rebecca Crumrine, mezzo-soprano and Bradley University Alum; Eric Ashcraft, tenor and Bradley University Alum; and Saul Nache, baritone, who teaches at Bradley and Illinois Wesleyan Universities and Augustana College.  Dr. Timothy Semanik, director of the Bradley Symphony Orchestra, and Dr. Cory Ganschow, Director of Choral Activities at Bradley, will conduct.
