The Bradley Community Chorus and Symphony Orchestra will perform Dan Forrest’s Jubilate Deo! which is a 21st century masterwork that brings a global perspective to the beloved Psalm 100. The work is in seven different languages and draws from a wide spectrum of musical influences. Each movement combines some characteristics of its language-group’s musical culture with the composer’s own musical language.
Jennifer performs as a soprano member of the Bradley Community Chorus and will also be singing a solo within Movement 3 of Dan Forrest’s “Jubilate Deo” entitled “Ta can chang de yang”.
Dr. Cory Ganschow, Director of Choral Activities, and Dr. Timothy Semanik, director of the Bradley Symphony Orchestra, will conduct.
Sunday, November 24, at 4:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 607 N.E. Madison. General admission $10, students $5. Call 677-2650 for tickets.
